Artist Talk - Jimmer Willmott
Jimmer Willmott is a pop surrealist who creates work that mixes modern icons and instantly recognisable images with bright colours and absurdity. He hides social commentary throughout his work, most of which are reflections of the nonsensical world we’ve created around us.
He is known for his donut-faced cops, eyeballs and use of alphabetti spaghetti within his paintings. Jimmer is also known for his strong Bristol accent and being as lovably weird as his artwork.
He will be giving an artist talk about his work and career at Metal on 3rd April which will also include a visit to see his artwork on billboard.
Date: Wednesday 3rd April
Time: 5pm
Duration: 1 hour (includes 20 minutes of walking)
Location, Metal Culture, St Peters Rd, Peterborough PE1 1YX.
